Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend a dental checkup once every 6 months. During this consultation, a proper dental and oral health assessment will be carried out. The information will be stored in our data system and will be updated on each visit. The dentist will also review your dietary habits, brushing, and flossing techniques and will be happy to answer any of your queries. Proper counselling regarding your diet and brushing techniques will be carried out.

We advise you to contact the dentist and explain the symptoms. In most circumstances, a consultation will be required for a dental assessment. You may require a radiograph during this consultation. Following identification of the cause of the pain, the dentist will help to relieve the pain with a temporary measure. This will be followed by a definite treatment based on the diagnosis.

We recommend pre-procedure oral analgesia which helps the patient during the procedure. A topical anesthesia is generally applied at the site of injection so the patient will not feel the needle pricking pain. Following this we administer local anesthesia which will completely control the pain in the operative site. The local anesthesia generally lasts for only 2 hours. Hence, we prescribe adequate oral analgesics to control the post treatment pain. We also offer emergency consultation to help patients who present with dental pain.

There are many options for replacing missing teeth which includes from removable to fixed appliances. We recommend having a dental consultation and proper investigation before choosing the options. Pros and cons of various treatment options will be discussed prior to the procedure.

Generally, we recommend bringing your child along during your or other sibling’s dental visit. This will help your child to get used to the place and make them comfortable. Our clinic is children friendly and our staff are working mothers and trained to look after kids well. We keep the first visit simple and straightforward.
